Responsibilities
  • Participate in hands-on learning across multiple manufacturing plants by shadowing production roles to understand operational workflows.
  • Complete on-the-job training, structured workshops, and guided learning modules to build operational knowledge and technical skills.
  • Learn and apply SAP management systems, including enterprise resource planning and material requirements planning, for material planning, shop floor control, and production tracking.
  • Assist with manufacturing cost analyses, production scheduling, capacity planning, and material requirements planning.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to cross-functional projects that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance operations.
  • Develop capacity plans for current and future resource needs by analyzing production data and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Train and shadow in Production Team Leader responsibilities to prepare for potential advancement into leadership roles.
  • Support daily operational needs by applying SAP, production planning concepts, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for efficiency and quality enhancements.
  • Support capacity planning, scheduling, and cost analysis tasks.
  • Build working relationships with team members, production leaders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Understand the fundamentals of team leadership and operational decision-making.
  • Align daily work with operational excellence, continuous improvement, and high-quality medical device production.
Desired Qualifications
  • A four-year degree in Business Administration or Operations and Supply Chain Management.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Prior experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning data management systems.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and production or process-driven work environments.
