Overlake Foundation appoints new chief development officer, vice president of philanthropy. Overlake Medical Center & Clinics announced this week that Kari Rallo has been appointed as the new chief development officer of the Overlake Medical Center Foundation and vice president of philanthropy of Overlake Medical Center & Clinics. Rallo has worked in the nonprofit and fundraising sector for more than two decades and previously worked for the Seattle Children's Foundation for 14 years. At Seattle Children's, she served as the vice president of development and deputy chief development officer. "Overlake has a deep and enduring legacy of delivering compassionate care, supported by a community whose generosity and commitment have helped make that mission possible," Rallo said in a statement. "I look forward to partnering with our donors, volunteers, and teams to strengthen that legacy and help ensure exceptional care for our community for generations to come." Rallo will be stepping in for Molly Stearns, who retired after 16 years as Overlake's chief development officer.

Overlake welcomes 2 new senior leaders. Overlake Medical Center & Clinics has announced the appointments of two new senior leaders: James "Jamie" Boswell and Dino Johnson. Effective March 23, Boswell assumed the role of Overlake Clinics president. He is a board-certified hospitalist and has been a member of Overlake's medical staff since 2005. Over the past two decades, he has held several leadership roles, including medical director of Overlake Hospitalists, chair of the Department of Medicine, and, most recently, chief of staff. Boswell will continue to practice as a hospitalist. Effective April 20, Johnson joined Overlake as chief operating officer, bringing more than 20 years of health care leadership experience. Johnson previously served at St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor and St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, both of which are part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. Overlake recognized for leadership in energy efficiency. April 15, 2026 Overlake Ob Gyn, PC. is proud to share that Overlake Medical Center & Clinics was recognized with a 2026 Energy Vision Award by Bellevue 2030 District. The recognition, given April 9, was part of the honors presented by Bellevue 2030 District to its facilities business partner, UMC. Overlake Facilities Director Jim Dobbs accepted the award, which recognizes leaders in its region who are helping to reduce energy and water usage, carbon emissions and promote sustainable urban development.
