Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field is required; a Ph.D. is a plus.
  • Proven experience in radio frequency system design, simulation, and testing.
  • Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance is preferred, and a minimum Secret clearance is required.
  • Familiarity with SCEPTRE signal processing software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with radio frequency measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers and vector network analyzers.
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic theory, antenna design, and radio frequency propagation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex radio frequency issues.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to radio frequency systems.
  • Project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • United States citizenship is required for all positions.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and analyze radio frequency systems and components for applications such as wireless communication, radar, and satellite systems.
  • Use software tools and simulations to model and optimize radio frequency systems, including antenna design, propagation analysis, and electromagnetic compatibility.
  • Select appropriate radio frequency components, including amplifiers, filters, antennas, and transceivers, based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Plan and conduct radio frequency testing and measurement activities, including signal characterization, performance testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate radio frequency systems into larger systems or products and ensure seamless functionality.
  • Ensure that radio frequency systems comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
  • Identify and resolve radio frequency issues and anomalies in the laboratory and field.
  • Assist in developing prototypes and proof-of-concept systems.
Desired Qualifications
