Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field is required.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a related information technology role is required.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience with SQL is required.
  • Experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • The ability to work well with other team members is required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships are required.
Responsibilities
  • Communicate directly with customers through the ticketing system, phone calls, and email to assist with software questions or issues.
  • Provide desktop and application support to customers in on-premises and hosted environments.
  • Research and analyze issues to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Identify technology solutions based on analysis of customer support needs.
  • Work with different project teams to ensure that customer installations and upgrade projects are completed correctly and on time.
  • Produce, maintain, and update technical documentation.
  • Contribute to customer support tools and support processes.
  • Create service desk tickets for incoming client phone calls and emails, and escalate issues to higher-tier support when necessary.
  • Participate in a team on-call rotation while providing 24/7/365 technical support.
  • Travel occasionally to customer sites, including correctional facilities and other secure or restricted environments.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of software applications and pharmacy and nursing use cases.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with other programming languages is a plus but not required.
  • Certifications such as A+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Certified Novell Engineer, or Cisco Certified Network Associate are a plus but not required.
