Two years of medical assistant experience.
Certification as a medical assistant in Ohio is preferred.
BLS certification.
Knowledge of computerized information systems.
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Responsibilities
Room patients and obtain vital signs, patient history, and reasons for seeking care.
Maintain the confidentiality of patient records.
Prepare laboratory and radiology materials and acquire laboratory and x-ray reports.
Recognize and respond appropriately to emergent situations according to protocols.
Maintain the work area, examination rooms, and supplies.
Perform basic triage according to specific office protocol procedures.

Certification as a medical assistant in Ohio is preferred.

Qualifications:
