Requirements
  • Registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick.
  • At least one year of relevant clinical nursing experience acquired within the past five years.
  • A valid Immediate Resuscitation Care (SIR) certificate.
  • A critical care certificate or equivalent, or the ability to obtain it within the specified timelines.
  • An Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificate, or the ability to obtain it within the specified timelines.
  • A Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certificate, or the ability to obtain it within the specified timelines.
  • A Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificate, or the ability to obtain it within the specified timelines.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work.
  • A good previous work record, including performance and attendance.
  • Adherence to professional ethics, the Vitalité Health Network's management philosophy, and organizational values.
  • Compliance with the Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.
  • The selected candidate may be required to perform ambulance transfers as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in planning, organizing, providing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with the Vitalité Health Network's philosophy, objectives, and policies.
  • Determine and meet the individual needs of patients undergoing surgery and their families during the preoperative, perioperative, and immediate postoperative periods.
