About the job

Requirements
  • At least 3 years administering Yardi Voyager 7S, including security, roles, menus, and configuration; end-user experience alone is insufficient.
  • Working knowledge of multifamily property management and accounting workflows.
  • Ability to write custom reports and queries using SQL, YSR, or similar tools.
  • Experience setting up new properties or migrating data into Yardi.
  • A track record of completing projects and communicating clearly with non-technical colleagues.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as CIG’s Yardi expert and escalation point for corporate and property-level teams across Voyager 8 and Yardi CRM.
  • Lead post-migration stabilization and optimization of Voyager 8, resolving issues carried over from Voyager 7S and adopting new Elevate capabilities.
  • Administer Yardi CRM, including user setup, workflows, and the flow of lead and leasing data into Voyager.
  • Manage configuration and ongoing maintenance, including user security, roles, and menus.
  • Coordinate, test, and document upgrades, patches, and new modules before they reach users.
  • Act as the primary contact between CIG leadership and Yardi’s support and sales teams.
  • Set up new acquisitions in Yardi on both the property management and accounting sides, including data mapping and conversion.
  • Manage integrations and data flows between Yardi and other business systems, including ETLs.
  • Hold teams to system best practices so data stays clean and reliable.
  • Build and maintain custom reports and queries, and support audit and compliance requests with accurate data extracts.
  • Own Yardi projects from scoping through completion, identifying risks early and communicating them clearly.
  • Find new ways to use Yardi to improve daily operations across the portfolio.
  • Lead Yardi training for corporate and property staff, including new-hire onboarding.
  • Maintain clear process documentation and user guides so system knowledge lives with the team, not one person.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience migrating from Voyager 7S to Voyager 8 (Yardi Elevate).
  • Hands-on Voyager 8 and Yardi CRM administration.
  • Experience with RentCafe, Procure to Pay, or Investment Manager.
  • Experience with ETLs and third-party integrations.
  • Experience training property-level and new-hire staff on Yardi.

About the company

Clear Investment Group

View

Clear Investment Group is a Chicago-based real estate investment firm that focuses on acquiring undervalued Class C workforce housing in secondary and tertiary U.S. markets. It revitalizes distressed, mid-size apartment communities through strategic renovations and in-house property management, then stabilizes and sells them to yield-focused investors or holds them long-term. The company differentiates itself through vertical integration (self-managing property, leasing, and construction) and by co-investing its own capital (about 10%) alongside limited partners, coupled with a woman-owned leadership and a history of managing over $600 million in transactions across 150+ properties. Its goal is to provide steady, attractive returns for institutional and private investors by building stabilized, cash-flowing portfolios via opportunistic, value-add investments in workforce housing, funded in part by its funds, including Clear Opportunities Fund I and the planned Fund II.
