Electrical Engineer
About the job
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an engineering-related curriculum from a U.S.-accredited college or university.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in electrical commercial building system design.
- Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination or obtaining Professional Engineer licensure.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
- A thorough understanding of coordination across all design disciplines and its impact on projects.
- Team-oriented problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and flexibility.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
- Engineer and design electrical building systems, including power distribution systems, lighting systems, and auxiliary systems.
- Work on project teams with architects, contractors, and facility owners across education, healthcare, research, institutional, multi-family, and mixed-use markets.
- Contribute to projects from concept through construction.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred.
