Requirements
  • Significant work experience gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm.
  • A proven track record of leading Internal Controls over Financial Reporting engagements, preferably in the United Arab Emirates.
  • An internationally recognised professional accounting qualification, such as ACA, CPA, or ACCA, is essential.
  • A mature network of clients with associated direct sales and a track record of identifying potential business development opportunities.
  • Experience leading teams, delegating work, and supporting the development of junior team members.
  • Strong report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Responsibilities
  • Lead high-profile, complex client engagements and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Shape and grow the practice through business development, client relationship management, and market-facing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with experts across Risk Advisory, Digital AI Analytics, Restructuring, Disputes, and Transaction Advisory to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Use data analytics and artificial intelligence-driven solutions to solve complex client challenges.
  • Work with global colleagues and clients across a variety of industries and jurisdictions.
  • Mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing culture.
  • Provide strategic oversight of a portfolio of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting engagements, particularly in the United Arab Emirates, and support engagements in other Gulf Cooperation Council countries such as Saudi Arabia.
  • Provide final review and delivery of client proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Provide final review of draft and final reports to ensure a high level of quality.
  • Lead and review the work of assignment teams composed of internal and external experts in close, intermittent, and remote collaboration modes.
  • Develop a network of potential clients and identify opportunities to build personal brand and Ankura’s market reputation through thought leadership and targeted market activity.
  • Participate in public speaking events, conferences, seminars, marketing events, and client meetings.
