About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Proven experience in quality assurance/quality control roles, specifically in energy storage, manufacturing, or construction environments.
- High computer literacy and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with quality methodologies such as Lean and 5S, and proficiency with enterprise resource planning and Quality Management Software.
- Execute Inspection and Test Plans for equipment installation, commissioning, and manufacturing milestones.
- Capture comprehensive photo documentation and draft accurate, detailed quality reports.
- Oversee and direct third-party contractors during system remediation activities to resolve technical issues.
- Identify, flag, and document defective materials or workmanship, and track non-conformance reports to completion.
- Prepare, oversee, and maintain turnover documentation, quality audits, and weekly and monthly project quality reports.
- Partner with Project Managers and subcontractors to enforce quality standards and safety protocols.
- Perform root cause analysis on quality issues to prevent recurrence.
