Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of Box Office or ticketing supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience with Ticketmaster.
  • A high school diploma.
  • Proficient typing skills.
  • Ability to provide leadership, interact positively with staff and guests, prioritize, organize, motivate staff, solve problems, delegate, follow up, communicate, and diffuse potentially volatile situations tactfully.
  • Working knowledge of computerized ticketing operations and software, including Ticketmaster Host system, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of guest relations, phone etiquette, immediate and long-term decision-making, verbal and written communication, and accounting and cash-management procedures.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized and detail-oriented, work independently, anticipate issues, and handle last-minute projects to meet deadlines.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise Box Office operations and provide service that maximizes guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the Box Office.
  • Ensure the Box Office provides superior customer service.
  • Maintain a positive team environment within the department.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with ticketing staff and the General Manager.
  • Assist in ensuring appropriate staffing levels for all events.
  • Assist with recruiting and hiring staff and ensure hiring, disciplinary, and termination standards follow Live Nation guidelines.
  • Reconcile and account for ticket sales for each ticketed event.
  • Complete and distribute accurate daily ticket counts.
  • Assist in creating bi-weekly staff and show schedules.
  • Balance and reconcile seller cash drawers.
  • Maintain and modify ticketed events in Ticketmaster, including show inventory, event builds, and hold management.
  • Submit main-event and upgrade-event show builds through Client Center.
  • Monitor and maintain ticketing computers, software, and hardware.
  • Provide customer service in person and by telephone.
  • Assist with organizing night-of-show operations.
  • Interact with artists, record labels, and management regarding ticket purchases when necessary.
  • Maintain an accurate and timely flow of show and general venue information across departments and to the public.
  • Attend internal and external meetings as required.

Live Nation posts record Q2 with $7.7B revenue amid legal troubles and monopoly ruling
