Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • UAE production is delivering boats: July 2026 brought the launch of another ULTIMA 88, SUE ROSSO.
  • Manufacturing spans disciplines: Gdansk combines composites, carpentry, upholstery and painting with mechanical, electrical and electronic services.
  • Travel support is listed: the full-time Ras Al Khaimah Boat Builder role includes an annual ticket.

What critics are saying

  • Production remains craft intensive: Sunreef says shipyard craftsmen perform upholstery and woodwork manually.
  • Junior titles demand experience: Ras Al Khaimah's Junior Project Manager posting requires four to six relevant years.
  • Engineering work is site based: Ras Al Khaimah's autonomy lead role includes sea trials and excludes remote work.

What makes Sunreef Yachts unique

  • Solar technology stays in-house: Sunreef designs and manufactures panels integrated into yacht hulls, superstructures and masts.
  • Composite choices extend beyond fiberglass: Sunreef uses basalt and flax materials in Eco yacht construction.
  • Yacht software is developed internally: Sunreef WETRA connects navigation, energy management and technical monitoring.
