Supporting those who serve: Amentum's impact in Colorado Springs.

Supporting those who serve: Amentum's impact in Colorado Springs. October 28, 2026 - Few places embody military commitment like Colorado Springs, home to an exceptionally strong and mission-aligned defense community with the U.S. Air Force Academy, Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station and the Army's Fort Carson and Space Forces' Peterson and Schriever bases. With a legacy rooted in national defense, Amentum is proud to support this community and prioritize veterans and their families as its presence across the Pikes Peak region grows. Its commitment to the Colorado Springs military community is visible year-round through workforce development programs, strategic partnerships, and sustained volunteer engagement. Through initiatives such as SkillBridge and Hiring Its Heroes, Amentum helps transitioning service members build purposeful career paths in civilian life. Since 2022, 62 service members have participated across two major Colorado Springs contracts, with an impressive 72% moving into full-time roles with the company. Equally important is Amentum's hands-on support for the broader military community. Employees volunteer throughout the year with local nonprofits, including the annual food giveaway at Mt. Carmel, which provides essential resources to military families across the region. Amentum also partners closely with organizations such as Home Front Military Network, helping strengthen critical safety-net services for veterans, caregivers, and families facing challenges. Whether offering interview and résumé feedback, attending community networking events, or rolling up their sleeves to serve alongside local partners, Amentum employees continue to uphold a shared mission: build stronger connections, enhance community resilience, and honor those who serve. This year's award of the NORAD and USNORTHCOM Integrated Strategic Warning and Space Support Contract 3 (NISSC 3) only reaffirmed the company's enduring presence in the region, offering new opportunities for veterans and military-connected professionals to continue supporting its nation's national security.

370+ Amentum programs honored with a National Safety Council award.

370+ Amentum programs honored with a National Safety Council award. October 27, 2026 - Congratulations to the 2026 National Safety Council award recipients from Amentum programs across the globe! The National Safety Council (NSC) is the United States' leading non-profit organization advocating for safety and health for more than 100 years. Each year, it recognizes organizations for achieving accomplishments in their safety performance by presenting them with awards in different categories. This year, 373 Amentum programs received safety awards from the NSC. "I am proud to announce that many of our Amentum teams have once again been recognized by the National Safety Council for their outstanding safety performance," said Steve Arnette, Amentum's chief operating officer. "These employees support some of the world's most complex and demanding missions, and they do so with an unwavering commitment to protecting one another and those around them. This recognition reflects the culture our teams build every day, where safety, accountability and mission success go hand in hand," continued Steve. The NSC's Industry Leader award is the most prestigious safety award, presented to programs with a safety performance, as measured by total incident rate and employee hours, in the top five percent of member facilities. Performance at this level against such fierce competition represents extensive effort towards implementing an advanced safety program that results in a very low occurrence of injuries. Eighty-seven Amentum programs have been honored with this award since 2011, and this year, four programs were presented with the award. Additionally, this year 24 programs were recognized for earning the Superior Safety Performance award for 10 consecutive years without a lost workday injury. These operations have accomplished a remarkable feat by preventing serious injuries for an entire decade. Every recognition earned reflects the dedication of Amentum employees who make safety a daily priority. Whether supporting customers in the field, managing operations, maintaining equipment or enabling mission success behind the scenes, its teams demonstrate that safety and performance go hand-in-hand.

Three industrial stocks under $50: Amentum, Intuitive Machines and ZIM

Three industrial stocks trading below $50 stand out this October: Amentum, Intuitive Machines, and ZIM Integrated Shipping Services. Each has different strengths and risks. Amentum booked more than $400 million in advanced nuclear awards and over $1 billion in classified defence awards in its fiscal third quarter. Backlog reached $48.2 billion, though only $6.2 billion is funded. Free cash flow rose to $135 million, but gross debt is about $3.9 billion. Intuitive Machines' second-quarter revenue more than quadrupled to $206 million, and backlog rose to $1.8 billion. It still lost $62.8 million in the quarter. ZIM raised its 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance to $2.7 billion to $3 billion. Shareholders would receive $35 per share in the proposed Hapag-Lloyd acquisition, which faces regulatory uncertainty in Israel.
