Bank of America sets $367 target on Tower Semiconductor stock after silicon photonics revenue triples

Bank of America initiated coverage of Tower Semiconductor with a Buy rating and a $367 price target, seeing significant upside despite shares tripling over the past year. The Israel-based specialty foundry recently posted its best quarter ever. Analyst Oliver Wong set the target at 20 times projected 2028 enterprise value to EBITDA, with earnings estimates 13% and 28% above consensus for 2027 and 2028 respectively. BofA believes the market undervalues Tower's leadership in silicon photonics chips, used in transceivers that carry data across AI data centres. The firm expects Tower's silicon photonics revenue to double in 2026. The segment grew over 270% year-over-year in Q2 2026, reaching an annualised run rate above $680 million.

BofA: Eli Lilly's international obesity market could eclipse US sales

Bank of America raised its price target on Eli Lilly to $1,344 from $1,334 following strong second-quarter results. The bank highlighted that international obesity markets could eventually surpass US sales of GLP-1 drugs. Lilly reported second-quarter revenue of $23 billion, up 48% year-on-year, and adjusted earnings of $8.38 per share, beating the $6.01 consensus. The company raised its full-year revenue guidance to $85 billion-$87 billion from $82 billion-$85 billion. BofA noted that international GLP-1 sales are approaching parity with the US market. Mounjaro, Lilly's diabetes injection, grew 55% in Europe, 30% in Japan, and 93% in China last quarter. The bank believes non-US markets offer greater expansion potential due to larger populations of untreated patients.

Uber secures $7.7B credit facility and term loans to fund Delivery Hero takeover

Uber Technologies has entered into new credit facilities to support its takeover bid for Delivery Hero. On 6 August 2026, the company signed a senior unsecured term loan agreement with Morgan Stanley and other lenders, reducing commitments under an existing bridge facility by €4 billion. The funds will finance Uber's voluntary public takeover offer for Delivery Hero, refinance the target company's debt, and cover transaction costs. The term facility includes customary covenants such as a minimum interest coverage ratio and rating-linked pricing. On the same date, Uber also secured a new $7.7 billion senior unsecured revolving credit agreement with Bank of America and other lenders, replacing its 2024 revolver. The new facility runs until 2031 and remains undrawn except for transferred letters of credit, enhancing the company's liquidity for general corporate purposes.

Charles River Associates expands credit facility to $400M with six-bank syndicate

Charles River Associates has expanded its credit facility to $400 million through a six-bank lending syndicate. The five-year agreement includes a $75 million term loan and a $325 million revolving credit facility, replacing a previous $300 million facility set to mature in August 2027. The revolving facility can be reduced to $250 million between 16 July and 15 January each year when working-capital requirements are lower. CRA will use proceeds to repay outstanding borrowings, support working capital, fund growth investments, and cover general corporate purposes. The lending group includes Bank of America, Citizens Financial Group, Eastern Bank, and Beacon Bank & Trust, with BMO and M&T Bank joining as new lenders. The expanded facility provides additional liquidity as the consulting firm invests in its global economic, financial, and management advisory operations.
