About the job
- A minimum of six months of relevant experience is required.
- Perform all duties and job functions of an experienced Clerk.
- Assume responsibility for the Department Manager in the Department Manager's absence.
- Maintain strict adherence to Produce Department and company safety guidelines.
- Assign duties to the team as needed.
- Train new teammates.
- Cull and rotate product and straighten displays.
- Ensure department standards are met.
- Write orders for the day and set up the timeline for the production schedule.
- Provide friendly and courteous service in person and on the phone.
- Receive and stock orders.
- Understand and practice proper sanitation procedures.
- Follow inventory control procedures to ensure quality production, accuracy, and product rotation.
- Store/Facility Teammates must have a minimum of six months of employment with Schnucks.
- Store Support Center Teammates must have a minimum of one year of employment with Schnucks.
- Candidates must be in good standing and not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline.
- Internal candidates must obtain manager approval based on performance if invited for an interview.
