Requirements
  • An active, unrestricted medical license in the state of primary residence and the state where medical services are provided.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider.
  • A DEA license.
  • Proficiency in a fully remote work environment.
  • Ability to provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment remotely through telemedicine.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for using a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence.
  • Sufficient hearing ability for participating in phone calls or virtual meetings.
  • Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions with reliable internet connectivity.
  • Successful completion of comprehensive background checks and drug screenings as a contingency of employment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorder across all age groups.
  • Provide psychopharmacological management for psychiatric treatment conditions.
  • Provide medication-assisted treatment to patients with opioid use disorder who are in active withdrawal or recovery, with a data waiver or willingness to obtain one.
  • Provide supportive psychotherapy and motivational interviewing using trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and patient-centered approaches.
  • Coordinate care across psychiatric, substance use treatment, and medical services.
  • Provide direct support for scheduled and walk-in patients.
  • Complete validated rating-scale documentation and treatment plans to help determine the appropriate level of care.
  • Coordinate care involving psychological testing, medical referrals, resources, peer support, housing, and other identified social determinants of health.
  • Work directly with a multidisciplinary team that includes primary care physicians, pediatricians, obstetricians/gynecologists, counselors, peer support staff, and care coordinators.
