  • Climb up and down ladders.
  • Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and maintain regular attendance.
  • Handle and move merchandise in coolers and freezers up to 40 pounds.
  • Work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience by connecting with guests and providing quality handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operation.
  • Maintain Food and Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards.
  • Execute food and beverage processes, including deliveries, replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, defect processing, signing, and backstock.
  • Maintain awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks.
  • Follow Target and Starbucks routines to provide a consistent Starbucks experience while maintaining efficiency and food safety.
  • Maintain an inviting dining area for guests.
  • Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards.
  • Produce items to specification on production cards and follow department routines.
  • Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items according to best practices.
  • Complete and record cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space according to best practices.
  • Follow packaging and labeling guidelines for food products.
  • Follow food safety requirements.
  • Locate and identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and process them according to best practices.
  • Place store-initiated orders to maintain accurate in-stocks.
  • Follow perishable inventory procedures to accurately record inventory.
  • Execute sampling best practices.
  • Greet guests authentically and create a welcoming experience.
  • Observe guest body language and verbal clues to tailor assistance and interaction.
  • Ask questions to understand guests' specific needs.
  • Use knowledge of total-store and area-specific tools, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
  • Thank guests genuinely and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
  • Complete all required Starbucks training.
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Work safely, identify and correct hazards, and comply with safety policies and best practices.
  • Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pickup, and Drive Up while complying with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
