Requirements
  • PhD / MA in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or closely-related field with specialization in AI/ML, or 10+ years professional experience
  • 3+ years experience developing AI/ML solutions and prototypes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to distill complex topics

Responsibilities
  • Advise product teams on the models and tools our airline customers' will need to power their AI-driven dynamic offer creation, including airfare, pricing, ancillary pricing, and product selection.
  • Provide data science leadership in product-led engagements with airlines and tech vendors to identify customers’ problems that can be solved by models trained on ATPCO data
  • Lead in evaluation and design of potential AI-based ATPCO products, including around customer segmentation and impacts of external shocks (e.g., political, environmental, economic) on airline offer creation
  • Advise data engineers on AI tools to create efficiency in data ingestion and synthetic data creation
  • Collaborate with data engineering and infrastructure teams on how to optimize data for AI/ML
  • Monitor and research AI innovations, techniques, and use cases relevant to airline industry and ATPCO product portfolio
  • Promote AI adoption by presenting at industry events and creating content (or supporting presentations and created content)
