Requirements
  • Five (5) years of experience analyzing comprehensive safety and occupational health program for large organizations with over 1,000 employees; experience identifying hazards; analyzing methods to control hazards; ability to plan, organize and prioritize assignments.

Responsibilities
  • Attend safety and health operation committee meetings, prepare committee meeting notes, and attend at least one meeting per quarter.
  • Schedule Safety and Health Committee Meetings, Conferences and Trainings including AED training.
  • Develop safety and health products, including fact sheets, job aids, web pages, video, newsletters, and electronic materials (two products per quarter).
  • Provide COR with drafting various documents such as memoranda, issues papers, inspection reports, and other documents upon request or as needed.
  • Prepare a high-level, easy to read safety and health inspection report using the completed inspections checklist submitted from OCC regional offices, COR and/or the collateral duty safety officer (CDSO).
