Requirements
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Comprehension of the last-mile delivery industry, the company's capabilities, and its value proposition.
  • Ability to succeed in time-sensitive situations while maintaining positive relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including 24/7/365 operational coverage, using individual control, judgment, and discretion to achieve company goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team in a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including creating career development plans for direct reports and resolving problems.
  • Manage data collection and update metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce costs per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Contribute to and execute onboarding plans for new market clients as the market grows.
  • Learn and master transportation software, electronic logging device software and safety tracking, pay systems, and other third-party and client software systems.
  • Oversee weekly contractor commission processes to ensure regional contractors receive timely and accurate settlements.
  • Schedule and communicate with contractors and company drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Manage service-related standards to achieve on-time delivery, and suggest and implement policy changes to improve service and on-time delivery.
  • Handle client issues and take responsive action as necessary to maintain positive client relationships.
  • Monitor and track driver deliveries and service failures daily, and determine actions for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Make client pickups and deliveries as needed.
