Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • A developed understanding of effective proposal and presentation strategy development and compliance, writing, and production.

Responsibilities
  • Interface with business line growth teams and operations to support the process of winning work.
  • Lead responses to client requests for information, requests for quotations, and requests for proposals, applying standard pursuit processes to ensure efficiency in schedule and bid compliance.
  • Produce print, electronic, and oral proposal deliverables.
  • Provide market research and competitive intelligence, leveraging data systems and tools to support proposal strategy and business strategic planning efforts.
  • Lead medium to large proposals and presentations and support pursuits from capture through the interview stage.
  • Support capture managers in developing the win strategy during capture through interview preparation.
  • Create annotated outlines and content plans and provide recommendations to technical teams on section structures.
  • Serve as lead writer and editor for tailored resumes, past performance sections, executive summaries, and management approaches for proposals as needed.
  • Facilitate Pink Team and Red Team color reviews and quality reviews, and apply lessons learned to add value to proposals.
  • Manage proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams.
  • Provide recommendations in go/no-go and greenlight analyses in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning, and positioning activities related to proposal preparation.
  • Complete internal debriefs for led proposals and leverage past pursuit debrief information.
  • Support win/loss debriefs and gather client feedback on proposals to ensure and demonstrate continuous improvement.
  • Support marketing or pursuits strategy and content development related to clients and markets, marketing communications, campaigns, account managers, and business lines as necessary.
  • Coach entry-level proposal team members.
  • Perform a self-check of work before submitting it for review or approval.

  • Working knowledge of and interest in the architecture and engineering industry, including AECOM's projects, people, credentials, and competitors.
