Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in lodging, hospitality, or a related field is preferred; training is provided as needed.
- Ability to present a professional, engaging, and polite image to guests and partners.
- Strong communication skills in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Ability to read and understand operational documents and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching is required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent guest service to internal and external customers in alignment with the company's mission, culture, and values.
- Model appropriate guest and partner interaction, maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
- Interact with guests on property, by phone, and via email to assist with general inquiries, reservations, and local attractions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to on-site guest needs and requests.
- Process retail sales, deposits, and general guest payments accurately.
- Follow general cash-handling procedures in accordance with company policies.
- Oversee daily operation of the main guest house.
- Open and close the main guest house each day according to established procedures.
- Coordinate and facilitate guest check-ins and check-outs, including room changes when necessary.
- Ensure property and assets remain secure at all times.
- Maintain pool and recreational areas when open, ensuring they are guest-ready and safe.
- Conduct regular property inspections and identify issues or needs.
- Notify management of property maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
- Set up, maintain, and operate morning and afternoon food service.
- Clean and stock bathrooms and maintain cleanliness of non-guest-room areas.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed and enforced consistently.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support overall lodging operations.
