Staff Software Engineer

Salary Range: 180000 to 240000 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)

What You’ll Tackle:

• Architect and build backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure that power enterprise-grade AI agents.
• Lead projects across authentication, observability, metering, billing, and metadata systems.
• Own infrastructure automation (IaC), Kubernetes-based deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design backend solutions with an eye toward reliability, security, scalability, and high performance.
• Collaborate closely with platform engineers, solutions architects, and product teams to deliver cohesive systems at scale.

What You'll Bring:

• 6+ years building and scaling backend systems and infrastructure, ideally for enterprise SaaS or AI products.
• Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, Terraform (or similar), and CI/CD systems.
• Strong backend development experience in Python (or similar languages).
• A track record of designing secure, reliable APIs and distributed systems.
• High ownership mindset—comfortable architecting systems and getting your hands dirty building them.
• Based in or willing to work onsite with the team in NYC.
