Responsibilities
  • Provide Five Star service and technical assistance to clients by answering questions and providing solutions for online banking, mobile banking, text banking, and e-pay.
  • Support debit and ATM transactions, including handling disputes and reporting or replacing lost or stolen ATM and check cards.
  • Identify client financial needs, recommend appropriate financial services or products by telephone, and obtain client agreement to refer them to a Digital Banking team.
  • Support client servicing for deposits and loans.
  • Research general banking items, including check and statement imaging, 1099 and tax information, and encoding errors.
  • Complete financial transactions, including transfers between accounts, loan payments, scheduled transfers, and Account Transfer Overdraft Protection.
  • Recommend appropriate problem resolution, service, or department for further assistance and call resolution concerning client inquiries.
  • Perform other duties and special projects assigned by Senior Management.

"This investment reflects our commitment to being a strong, accessible financial partner for the people and businesses we serve throughout Jefferson Parish and the greater New Orleans region." Hefler said the bank plans to continue using the Harahan location to serve customers and build relationships across the region. The reopening celebration also included appearances by the New Orleans Saints mascot and the team's Super Bowl trophy, along with refreshments and giveaways. Hancock Whitney up 16.9% YTD on revenue growth and expanding margins

Hancock Whitney gets regulatory approval to acquire One Florida Bank

Hancock Whitney Corporation has received regulatory approval to acquire OFB Bancshares, parent company of One Florida Bank. The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance have granted approval or confirmed non-objection to the deal. OFB Bancshares shareholders approved the merger agreement at a special meeting. The acquisition, initially announced on 15 May 2026, is expected to close on or about 1 August 2026, pending customary closing conditions. One Florida Bank operates six banking offices across Florida, offering commercial, residential mortgage, and instalment loans alongside deposit accounts.
