Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service procedures normally acquired through a high school education or equivalent, plus one or two additional years of experience.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear.
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations.
  • Ability to work early morning, late night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Responsibilities
  • Greet arriving guests, communicate menu specials and changes, answer questions, and accurately take guest orders.
  • Refill work stations at the beginning and end of every shift.
  • Advise the supervisor of member or guest complaints for immediate resolution.
  • Continuously clean and maintain all Food and Beverage areas.
  • Serve food and beverage items according to menu specification worksheets.
  • Prepare and serve soft beverages according to standard operating procedures.
  • Perform assigned side work, including polishing, rolling, and organization.
  • Keep all stock prepared and ready for use on each shift.
  • Maintain accountability of cash tips without commingling them with any cash bank.
  • Handle and count cash, make accurate change, and record credit card and member charges according to standard operating procedures.
  • Complete requisition forms for needed supplies.
  • Use proper garnishes, china, glassware, and flatware for all food and beverages.
  • Inform the Director of Food and Beverage, Dining Room Manager, or captain about intoxicated members or guests and do not serve clearly intoxicated individuals.
  • Open the dining room, grill, and/or pub and keep the area clean and accommodating in accordance with quality standards.
  • Handle problems courteously and professionally.
  • Maintain daily par stock inventory control.
  • Set up and break down dining room tables, banquet tables, chairs, display tables, carts, theme decorations, and other equipment according to the reservation book, special event plan, banquet event order, or diagram.
  • Forward member and guest comments and complaints immediately to the supervisor.
  • Comply with operating guidelines for the R.A.M. or Tips programs and applicable state and federal alcohol, cigarette, and tobacco laws and regulations.
  • Operate within the guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints established by PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties, Inc.
  • Verify the accuracy of member and other charges, including member numbers, names, signatures, and credit card authorization codes.
  • Adhere to service procedures outlined in the TPC Brand Standards.
  • Perform special projects and other assigned duties.
