Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related role, with demonstrated progression in scope and responsibility.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Workday experience with expertise in Core HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Integrations, Security, Recruiting, and Talent.
  • Experience in working a small team of Workday Analysts and operating 24x7 platforms operations for global organization
  • Experience with Payroll, Advanced Compensation, Core Compensation, or Performance Management preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, country-specific compliance requirements, audit controls, ERP integrations, data privacy, and GDPR.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience guiding Workday teams and collaborating effectively with business analysts and functional stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering cross-functional integrations and enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Proven success operating in fast-paced, global environments with complex operational needs.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain clear documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures to improve first-contact resolution and reduce ticket volume.
  • Advanced business process framework configuration and security administration.
  • Expertise in Advanced Reporting and complex calculated fields.
  • Strong integration development and troubleshooting skills, including Workday Studio and EIBs.
  • Experience supporting SOX and audit compliance initiatives.
  • Solid business acumen with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn, experiment, and adopt new technologies in an agile environment to improve platform scalability, resilience, and reliability.
Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day operational management of the Workday platform, including integrations, onboarding processes, security administration, and production support and service desk tickets.
  • Monitor and manage Workday integrations on a daily and weekly basis; proactively identify issues, troubleshoot failures, and coordinate timely resolution of data discrepancies.
  • Analyze business processes and design, configure, and optimize Workday solutions across Core HCM, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, Absence, and Time Tracking.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Workday security architecture, including domains, roles, role-based access, and security-related reporting.
  • Build, support, and troubleshoot integrations using EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with Workday best practices, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Partner closely with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess impacts, and ensure solutions align with organizational goals.
  • Advise and guide business leaders through system enhancements, platform upgrades, and process transformation initiatives.
  • Working effectively in a distributed global team environment across US, India, and other global regions.
  • Engage with leadership and diversified customer groups to understand the needs and recommend solutions.

Emerson Acquires AspenTech for $265/Share

Emerson has completed its acquisition of all outstanding shares of Aspen Technology, making AspenTech a wholly owned subsidiary. The acquisition followed a tender offer for $265 per share, with 72% of shares tendered. AspenTech's shares have ceased trading on NASDAQ. Antonio Pietri will retire as CEO, with Vincent M. Servello appointed as President. The transaction was advised by Goldman Sachs, Centerview Partners, and Davis Polk & Wardwell.

Emerson to Acquire AspenTech for $7.2B

Emerson has agreed to acquire the remaining shares of AspenTech that it does not already own for $265 per share, in a deal valued at $7.2 billion. Emerson currently holds approximately 57% of AspenTech's shares. Once the transaction is completed, AspenTech will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Emerson. The acquisition is expected to be finalized in the first half of 2025.
