Requirements
  • The candidate must have 2–5+ years of enterprise software sales experience with proven success selling software-as-a-service solutions into the insurance sector.
  • The candidate must have experience in the property insurance industry.
  • The candidate must be willing to travel domestically.
  • The candidate should be located in the New York City or San Francisco metro area.
  • The candidate must be comfortable working in a collaborative pod-team structure.
  • The candidate must be self-directed, resourceful, highly driven, and able to maintain urgency and focus.
Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas through strategic prospecting, qualification, opportunity management, and closing net-new opportunities within top insurance brokers.
  • Run expert discovery, tailor product demonstrations, and drive structured pilots with clear success criteria and timelines.
  • Prepare Customer Order Forms and manage the contracting process with Finance, Legal, and Security.
  • Partner with Marketing and business development representatives on targeted campaigns.
  • Work with Product and Customer Success to translate pilot feedback into wins and expansions.
  • Maintain complete and accurate customer relationship management records, including activities, contacts, stages, and next steps.
  • Report on key performance indicators and continuously refine the sales process.
  • Develop the channel pipeline with key partners, acquire new customers, and own the annual recurring revenue attributed to those customers.
  • Assess prospect pain and value alignment, develop a comprehensive understanding of each prospect, coordinate sales engineering involvement, drive contracts to completion, and provide market feedback internally.
  • Prospect for and persuade companies that own or occupy more than $8 billion of commercial property to become customers.
  • Build relationships, conduct research, and drive the end-to-end sales process.
  • Engage prospects through video conferences and in-person meetings, using judgment to determine effective methods and timing for advancing opportunities.
