Envevo secures EV charging maintenance contract.

Envevo secures EV charging maintenance contract. Envevo has secured an EV charging maintenance contract with 22 EV charging specialists transferring into Envevo through the TUPE process, increasing operational capacity, technical expertise and nationwide coverage. October 12, 2026 _ James Evison Envevo has secured an electric vehicle (EV) charging maintenance contract with 22 EV charging specialists transferring into Envevo through the TUPE process, increasing operational capacity, technical expertise and nationwide coverage. The transfer strengthens Envevo's Maintenance Business Unit, with the enlarged team providing specialist inspection, preventative maintenance, fault response and asset management services, across a range of charging technologies and OEM platforms. The contract award reflects growing demand for specialist maintenance partners as EV charging networks continue to expand in scale and complexity across the UK. Reliable, resilient and well-maintained charging infrastructure is increasingly critical to supporting EV adoption, maximising asset performance and delivering a positive customer experience for drivers. Envevo's expanded maintenance operation will assist in maximising charger uptime, improve network reliability and support the efficient operation of critical charging infrastructure nationwide. A comprehensive mobilisation programme is now underway covering operational readiness, systems integration, safety, training and colleague onboarding to ensure a seamless transition and continued delivery of high-quality maintenance services, it said. Stuart Grant, Managing Director of Envevo, said: "This is a hugely significant achievement for Envevo and a clear endorsement of the expertise, professionalism and dedication its people demonstrate every day. "The addition of 22 highly experienced colleagues further strengthens its capability and brings together an exceptional depth of knowledge across EV charging maintenance, fault response and operational delivery. "By combining their expertise with its existing team, Transport & Energy is creating one of the UK's largest dedicated EV charging maintenance operations, capable of supporting a wide range of OEM technologies while helping to maximise network availability and keep critical charging infrastructure operating safely and reliably. "As the UK continues its transition towards electrified transport, customers require trusted partners who can deliver specialist maintenance services at scale. This milestone reinforces Envevo's position within that market and demonstrates our commitment to supporting the UK's net-zero ambitions through operational excellence, innovation and customer service." Michael Kennedy, Chief Executive Officer of Envevo, said: "This is an important milestone not only for Envevo, but for the wider EV charging sector. "The UK's transition to electric vehicles depends upon reliable, accessible and well-maintained charging infrastructure. As charging networks continue to grow in scale and complexity, operators increasingly require specialist maintenance partners capable of delivering high levels of availability, rapid fault response and consistent operational excellence. "The continued growth of its EV maintenance operation reflects the increasing need for specialist providers capable of supporting critical infrastructure at scale, while helping improve network resilience, customer experience and charger uptime. "Transport & Energy is delighted to welcome 22 new colleagues into Envevo and look forward to building a single, high-performing team focused on safety, customer service, innovation and operational excellence. "Together, we have created an organisation with the scale, expertise and geographic reach necessary to support some of the UK's most important charging assets and help enable the next phase of the country's transition to low-carbon transport."

Paua partners with UK truck dealers on 16 new charging sites.

Paua partners with UK truck dealers on 16 new charging sites. Paua, one of the UK's largest aggregated commercial EV charging networks, is teaming up with DAF truck dealers Motus and Ford & Slater to deliver shared electric truck charging at depots across the UK. Commercial fleets will be able to access the sites using Paua Share. By Ciaran Daly 17.03.2026 - 17:30 The move will bring dealer-operated commercial charging infrastructure into Paua's Share platform, enabling third-party fleets to utilise depot-based charging at Motus and Ford & Slater sites for rigid and articulated electric HGVs. The sites are open to vehicles of any brand, reflecting a growing shift towards interoperable infrastructure as commercial fleets continue to struggle with access to suitable charging. By opening private depots to external users, operators like Motus and Ford & Slater can increase utilisation of installed assets while giving fleets greater access to more reliable charging locations. In a press release, Paua states that installation and integration have been delivered through a multi-partner approach; Motus worked with Envevo and Ford & Slater with EO for charger deployment, all of which has then been integrated into Paua's payment and access platform. It marks an expansion of the role of established truck dealers in driving the transition to electric freight in the UK. Combined, Motus and Ford&Slater have provided around 20 per cent of all electric trucks in the UK's Zero Emission HGV and Infrastructure Demonstrator (ZEHID) scheme. Niall Riddell, CEO and Co-Founder of Paua, said: "Motus and Ford & Slater joining Paua Share is a strong example of the industry working together to accelerate electric truck adoption. Depot charging is a critical part of the ecosystem. By opening trusted depot infrastructure to other fleets, we can rapidly extend the usable charging network for electric trucks across the UK." 0 comments. about "Paua partners with UK truck dealers on 16 new charging sites" Your email address will not be published.
