Requirements
  • Proficient user of SolidWorks CAD package.
  • Functional knowledge of Thermal Desktop is a strong asset.

Responsibilities
  • Mechanical design of spacecraft components and subsystems, including primary and secondary structures. Develop detailed designs, models, and drawings.
  • Design electronics enclosures and packaging solutions to meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Generate part/assembly drawings, GD&T specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Familiarity with SC (AIT) assembly and testing procedures.
  • Support thermal analyses for spacecraft missions to predict and optimize thermal behavior under various operating conditions and in orbit environments.
  • Develop thermal models of spacecraft systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including systems engineers, structural engineers, and 3rd parties (customers/vendors), to integrate thermal solutions into spacecraft designs.
