Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Health benefits offset deductibles: RMF advertises a fully funded reimbursement account for employee deductible costs.
  • Entry-level learning is paid: Baltimore's listed summer internship offers $23 hourly and mentor-guided calculations and drawings.
  • Decarbonization creates several service channels: RMF offers energy audits, controls optimization, electrification plans and thermal-storage design.

What critics are saying

  • Retirement matching is discretionary: RMF qualifies its advertised 6% dollar-for-dollar 401(k) contribution as subject to employer discretion.
  • Travel is part of the job: South Carolina electrical designers must travel domestically/internationally and provide their own local transportation.
  • Project access requires vetting: Baltimore commissioning applicants must hold or qualify for security clearances.

What makes RMF Engineering unique

  • Engineer ownership shapes governance: RMF describes itself as engineering-owned and led.
  • Field reviews combine trade and design experience: RMF's in-house commissioning team includes specialists from skilled trades.
  • Design decisions use energy simulations: RMF models building performance to weigh costs and sustainability goals.
