Requirements
  • Three or more years as an engineering technician; associate's degree in Engineering Technology.
  • The engineer shall have a college degree in engineering (soil mechanics, materials, or related specialty), geological engineering, or related field; demonstrable education and experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Experience in environmental projects preferred, but not required.
  • Professional licensure: none required.
  • Technical skills, data collection, equipment operation, problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe)
  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills; adaptable to e-Verify program (as included in competencies)
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support in engineering projects; conduct tests; assist in data collection and analysis.
  • The Engineer(s) is responsible for assuring that all engineering support goals specified in the Task Order are attained.
