Requirements
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Preference given to students met on campus, at a national recruiting event, through a Rockwell Automation-hosted event or a targeted recruiting campaign
  • Preference given to students who have had prior intern or co-op with Rockwell Automation
  • Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Operations Research, Logistics, General Management, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in lean manufacturing / six sigma concepts
  • Basic knowledge in supply chain, previous supply chain internship experience
Responsibilities
  • Perform a key functional role while working with a team of engineers and industry professionals
  • Focus on process improvement, quality, delivery, safety, and productivity in manufacturing operations
  • Create quality documentation, metric reporting, data mining, statistical analysis of product data, performing root cause failures analysis, assisting in determination of corrective/preventive actions for non-conformances found in manufacturing and in the field, and executing Lean projects within the plant
  • Manage selection, negotiation, performance management and development of 3rd party suppliers
  • Link business unit forecasting with global manufacturing assets
  • Get materials in, and finished goods out, in an effective manner
  • Handle and respond to inquiries from the customer base throughout their end to end order to cash cycle
