- Active Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification is required.
- At least six months of experience in the medical field is required.
- Emergency Medical Technician, Qualified Medication Aide, or Certified Medical Assistant certification is highly preferred.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be capable of pushing, pulling, reaching, and bending frequently.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Administer medications.
- Obtain vital signs.
- Assist in sick call using medical protocols.
- Communicate with the facility or on-call medical provider.
- Respond to medical emergencies.
- Perform lifesaving measures and take charge and give direction during an emergency.
- Collect laboratory specimens as needed.
- Follow the Rules of 100 and provide patient care as specified.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in patient charts.
- Emergency Medical Technician, Qualified Medication Aide, or Certified Medical Assistant certification.
