Requirements
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience administering Windows and Linux/Unix servers, VMware, networking, storage (SAN/NAS), Exchange, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, compliance, and security auditing.
  • Strong expertise in server infrastructure, system performance, troubleshooting, and enterprise IT operations.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective technical solutions.
  • Experience managing and delivering projects on time.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and support internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direction for infrastructure, including servers, networks, security, and databases, covering standards, lifecycle management, and architecture.
  • Evaluate, design, and implement high-impact IT solutions based on long-term effectiveness, cost, feasibility, and technical constraints.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of server, network, database, and security engineers.
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, and Exchange environments.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file and print services, and system configurations.
  • Oversee SAN/NAS storage, virtualization platforms, and cloud-integrated infrastructure.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability, and resolve complex issues.
  • Manage enterprise monitoring, alerting, IT service management ticketing, helpdesk support, and escalation activities.
  • Support network infrastructure operations, performance, and reliability.
  • Implement cybersecurity controls, patching, access management, system hardening, vulnerability management, and threat mitigation.
  • Lead security compliance efforts, audits, and risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Manage backups and recovery for servers and databases, including SQL and Exchange.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and automate administrative processes.
  • Optimize system performance, capacity, and resource utilization.
  • Research, test, and implement new technologies and solutions.
  • Maintain infrastructure inventory, lifecycle data, and documentation.
  • Manage vendors, procurement, and service agreements.
  • Ensure adherence to change management processes.
  • Lead and manage infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and headquarters, conduct project meetings, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure scaling.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial IT environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSE, Microsoft Exchange, Network+, or A+.
  • Experience with automation and scripting, such as PowerShell, and advanced infrastructure optimization.
