A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
One year of experience is required.

Responsibilities

Determine patient destination at check-in upon arrival.
Interview patients to obtain accurate registration data, obtain necessary signatures on the Acknowledgment of Benefits form, and collect copies of insurance cards and patient identification.
Collect required financial information upon registration or check-in.
Maintain a balanced cash drawer.
Enter all data accurately.
Handle and appropriately direct phone calls, initiate reminder calls to patients, and schedule or reschedule patient exams as necessary.
Prepare and distribute exam-associated documentation to all imaging modalities.
Process documentation related to requests for imaging data, including CDs and reports, and scan Release of Information forms.
Perform other duties as assigned.

The Imaging Registrar supports the processing all documentation related to patient registration and requests for imaging data. This role greets patients upon arrival and collects necessary information from them, such as financial and health records. Working under close supervision, this role assists with directing patients to the correct location and verifies that their documentation is appropriate.

Essential Job Function:

Determines patient destination at check-in upon arrival at CHL.
Helps interview patients in order to obtain accurate registration data and obtains necessary signatures on the AOB and collects copies of insurance card and patient identification.
Collects required financial information upon registration or check-in.
Maintains a balanced cash drawer.
Enters all data accurately.
Handles and appropriately directs all phone calls and initiates call reminders to patients and schedules/reschedules patient exams as necessary.
Prepares and distributes exam associated documentation to all modalities.
Supports the processing all documentation related to requests for imaging data, CD's, reports, etc. and scans the Release of Information form.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Required: 1 year.
