Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed the assigned annual gross margin budget by promoting and selling products in the assigned territory in compliance with the Company's pricing policies.
  • Develop new prospects and maintain contact with established customers by regularly visiting them at their business sites or other off-site locations.
  • Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively, and report potential claims.
  • Keep management informed about local competition and market conditions.
  • Carry out sales and merchandise programs as directed, and recommend new items for stock.
  • Maintain current customer records, files, and reports of business transactions, and assist in collecting past-due accounts.
  • Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings as requested.
  • Demonstrate products after sale when necessary.
  • Travel extensively, including some overnight travel.

Reckelhoff has joined the company as Vice President - Human Resources. In this role, Reckelhoff will provide strategic leadership for Graybar's HR centers of excellence, including people operations, total rewards, talent attraction and talent management.
