Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of all products and procedures for handling them.
  • Suggestively sell to every customer, including offering the Behind-the-Counter Special.
  • Complete assigned tasks within a reasonable amount of time with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Follow the Customer Service Process.
  • Engage customers in conversation and offer products.
  • Adhere to the dress code.
  • Maintain the merchandising strategy for all products, ensuring proper placement and neatness for ease of shopping.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly marked and priced according to the Red-Black-Blue pricing strategy.
  • Perform receiving, rotating, and stocking procedures for all shipments, including unloading trucks when required.
  • Receive distributor returns properly.
  • Protect company assets by complying with established security, cash-handling, record-keeping, and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures, including bank deposit drops and pickups.
  • Operate the cash register and perform cash-handling procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including the bathroom.
