About the job
- Experience providing dementia care.
- Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and physical support for clients weighing up to 100–150 pounds.
- Ability to drive clients in the caregiver’s personal vehicle.
- Access to a cell phone with internet service.
- Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, hygiene, and meal preparation.
- Provide care for clients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or Parkinson’s disease.
- Drive clients to medical appointments and daily errands.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping and organization.
- CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, or AED certifications are preferred but not required.
