Requirements

Five years of experience with diesel engines, gas engines, and heavy equipment.
A valid driver's license is required.
Must successfully complete a background check and provide personal tools.
Proficiency in operating equipment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow oral and written directions.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of the position.
Ability to maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards.
Ability to lift or carry 50 pounds without difficulty and bend, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat, and grasp as needed.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions as necessary and remain flexible in an environment of constant change.
Ability to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work and effectively communicate with coworkers and management.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical defects and failures in various equipment regularly.
Maintain and repair all vehicles and heavy equipment.
Communicate maintenance or equipment repair needs and problems to the Manager.
Set up and modify new equipment as needed.
Keep maintenance equipment oiled and inspected and perform related tasks as required.
Help ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
Attend required safety and Occupational Safety and Health Administration training sessions.
Operate procedures accurately and efficiently within designated departments.
Promote positive team member and guest relations while maintaining professionalism with team members and guests.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creates and ensures a flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
Inspect, diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical defects and failures in various equipment regularly.
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all vehicles and heavy equipment.
Communicate any needs or problems relating to maintenance or repair of equipment with the Manager. Set up and modify new equipment as needed.
Keeps maintenance equipment oiled, and, inspected; performs related tasks as required. Helps ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local Laws and OSHA Regulations. Attend all safety and/ or OSHA training sessions as required.
Responsible for accurate and efficient operation of procedures within designated departments. Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team members and guest relations. Always maintain professionalism when working with other team members and/or guests.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
