Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Five to seven years of accounting or finance experience are required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting is required.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and computer skills are required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals across the organization are required.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail is required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, cash management, and financial reporting.
- Provide leadership and oversight to the Purchasing and Logistics department.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
- Supervise and support the accounting team, providing guidance and leadership as needed.
- Oversee purchasing and logistics operations to support cost-effective procurement, inventory management, and efficient supply chain processes.
- Analyze financial information and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, HR, Purchasing and Logistics, and other departments on financial and operational matters.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting, purchasing, and operational processes and systems.
- Prepare financial reports, correspondence, and other documentation as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
