About the job

Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience in B2B sales, channel management, strategic account management, or commercial leadership, with demonstrated accountability for a quota, revenue, or margin target.
  • Direct experience selling, launching, or growing eProcurement or B2B digital commerce integrations, such as PunchOut, EDI, cXML, or hosted catalogues, with enterprise customers.
  • Working knowledge of customer procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or SAP Business Network, and integration partners such as TradeCentric, GHX, or VANs.
  • Proven experience building long-term relationships with enterprise and contract customers and engaging senior stakeholders on both sides.
  • Ability to translate technical integration concepts into clear commercial value for customers and internal teams.
  • Confidence using pipeline data, reporting, and customer insight to prioritize activity and improve performance.
  • Applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of an Australian permanent residency visa.
Responsibilities
  • Carry and deliver the eProcurement channel sales quota and own its commercial result, including pricing and catalogue commercials, account-level margin, and revenue and growth targets.
  • Grow spend, adoption, and share of wallet across connected enterprise accounts.
  • Own the eProcurement pipeline with contracts, product, and business analysis; prioritize connections against agreed capacity and convert the pipeline into live, transacting accounts.
  • Forecast and report channel performance against quota across pipeline, revenue, margin, adoption, retention, and live-account performance, and act on commercial levers to close performance gaps.
  • Own commercial relationships with connected enterprise accounts, protecting retention and growing share of wallet.

  • Drive adoption, satisfaction, and retention across connected accounts, and report customer experience and voice-of-customer metrics.
  • Provide commercial oversight of connection delivery, escalate material blockers, and communicate delivery risk; product and the business analyst own the build while this role owns the commercial outcome.
  • Standardize onboarding using channel governance documentation and automation for repetitive back-office work.
  • Partner with sales and contracts on tenders, contract renewals, and strategic accounts where eProcurement strengthens the customer proposition.
  • Keep customer catalogues, pricing, and procurement data accurate and maintained.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in B2B distribution, wholesale, industrial, or contract supply.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, catalogue, and pricing systems, and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience developing channel-growth, customer-adoption, or sales-enablement programs at scale.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business or a similar field.

Genuine Parts: why a $2,500 bet could pay off as car buyers hold on to old vehicles

Genuine Parts (NYSE: GPC), owner of the NAPA Auto Parts brand, may gain as Americans hold on to their cars longer. About 1 million prospective buyers have left the new car market since 2020, according to The Wall Street Journal, as inflation, high interest rates, and fuel costs keep them away. NAPA has just under 6,000 company-owned and independently owned stores in the US, selling parts and offering repair services. On October 20, Genuine reported third-quarter revenue of $6.5 billion, up 4.2% year on year. Net income fell 0.9% to $224 million, and the stock dropped 6.6% that day. The company will separate its automotive and industrial divisions, with the spinoff expected to finish in the first quarter of 2027. Shareholders will receive a stake in the industrial business.

Genuine Parts sales rise 4% to $6.5B as automotive and industrial split stays on track for 2027

Genuine Parts (NYSE: GPC) said its plan to split into two public companies remains on track for the first quarter of 2027. The automotive and industrial parts distributor made the announcement on its third-quarter earnings call on October 20, 2026. Sales rose 4% to $6.5 billion. Its Motion industrial unit generated $2.4 billion, helped by maintenance, repair, and operations demand, data centre construction, and artificial intelligence infrastructure spending. Retail auto sales stayed subdued as elevated fuel costs and freight inflation weighed on demand. Chief financial officer Herbert C. Nappier said the company expects to pass through many cost increases and has not changed its gross margin expectations for the year. The company has also opened a heavily automated distribution centre in Pennsylvania.
