About the Company

TAE Technologies

Develops aneutronic hydrogen-boron fusion reactors

TAE Technologies develops commercial fusion power using a compact, linear reactor driven by hydrogen-boron (p-11B), an aneutronic fuel that largely avoids neutron production. It uses a beam-driven Field-Reversed Configuration (FRC) where particle beams heat and sustain a self-confined plasma, reducing external magnets and enabling potentially mass-manufacturable reactors. Its five generations of devices, including the C-2W/Norman with plasma temperatures over 70 million degrees Celsius, are guided by AI and machine learning in partnership with Google to reach net energy gain with Copernicus and a grid-ready Da Vinci prototype in the 2030s. Beyond power, TAE also pursues Boron Neutron Capture Therapy through TAE Life Sciences and advanced power management through TAE Power Solutions.
