Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Parts Advisor in the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, including Mercedes-Benz vehicles, is required.
  • The ability to provide effective customer service, communicate clearly, and build strong relationships is required.
  • The ability to work with attention to detail, multitask, and manage time efficiently is required.
  • Proficiency in dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
  • The ability to lift and handle parts and materials weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist customers and service technicians in locating the correct automotive parts and accessories.
  • Provide customers with accurate parts pricing and availability information.
  • Process customer orders and ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Maintain and manage inventory levels, keeping parts stocked and organized.
  • Communicate with suppliers to order parts, track shipments, and resolve supply issues.
  • Use dealership management software to check parts availability, input orders, and manage inventory.
  • Assist with preparing parts estimates and quotes for customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and courteously.
  • Keep the parts department clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and resources.
  • Collaborate with the service department to ensure all parts needed for scheduled repairs and maintenance are available.
  • Stay current with product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers and service technicians.
