About the company

Zus Health builds a platform that plugs into healthcare workflows to give providers quick access to patients’ histories, medication adherence data, and other important health information. The product helps health systems, telehealth services, and chronic care teams by reducing manual data gathering and easing administrative tasks, while offering real-time alerts for medication pickups and streamlined patient intake. It differentiates itself by focusing on seamless integration, timely, actionable insights, and a holistic view of patient data to improve care delivery and efficiency, rather than reinventing the care process from scratch. The company’s goal is to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency by making patient data more accessible and useful for clinicians and care teams.

  • February 2025 disclosures said revenue grew eightfold and live customers exceeded 60, signaling momentum.
  • Athenahealth Marketplace integration and Elation partnership expand distribution into primary-care EHR workflows.

What critics are saying

  • Epic and Oracle Health own the EHR workflow; they can bundle similar interoperability features.
  • TEFCA onboarding demands relentless compliance; any security failure after HITRUST certification damages trust fast.
  • By 2027, TEFCA-native EHR vendors can compress Zus into a feature, not a company.

  • August 11, 2026 TEFCA Candidate QHIN status gives Zus national exchange access and governance influence.
  • Zus's FHIR-native Common Patient Record embeds longitudinal data directly inside clinicians' existing workflows.
