Atari creates electronic entertainment for both arcades and homes. It popularized cartridge-based home gaming with the Atari 2600, letting players swap in different games on one console. Arcade cabinets and home consoles used simple controllers and interchangeable software to deliver varied experiences. The goal is to bring interactive entertainment to a wide audience by building a broad library of arcade and home game titles.
