About the job
- A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales support, contract administration, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management software such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Pipedrive.
- Working knowledge and use of Word, Excel, Visio, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of sales processes.
- Assist with lead research and data collection.
- Input and maintain lead data in the customer relationship management system.
- Track lead progress through the sales pipeline.
- Create client-tailored sales materials.
- Prepare and maintain sales reports.
- Support proposal preparation with the applications engineering team.
- Coordinate the process for opening quote numbers.
- Handle customer inquiries and route them appropriately when required.
- Maintain accurate customer profiles.
- Analyze data and provide insights and recommendations.
- Implement improvements based on data analysis.
- Generate routine sales and contract reports.
- Manage customer relationship management system usage and provide training for the sales team.
- Coordinate meetings and events for the sales team.
- Arrange travel for the sales team when required.
- Maintain organized contract records.
- Provide general administrative assistance to sales and applications engineering functions.
- Monitor contract expiration and renewal.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies or issues with document content or organization.
