Wireless left-ventricle pacing for heart failure
EBR Systems develops wireless cardiac pacing systems for cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) to treat heart failure. Its WiSE CRT System delivers left-ventricle pacing without a lead by using an implanted receiver and an external transmitter that converts energy into a pacing signal. This wire-free, endocardial approach aims to reduce lead-related complications and tailor therapy to individual patients. The goal is to improve heart failure outcomes by providing a safer, adaptable CRT option.
