- At least one year of hospital or similar experience is required for per diem nursing staff.
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Current Basic Life Support certification for adults, children, and infants is required.
- Work a minimum of 24 hours per week under the higher per diem rate option, or a minimum of 40 hours per month under the lower per diem rate option.
- Work every other weekend or an approved flexible alternative under the higher per diem rate option.
- Work two weekend shifts totaling 16 hours per month under the lower per diem rate option.
- Provide nursing care to medically complex patients in hospital units with acuity similar to medical-surgical or telemetry units.
