- Periodically tour assigned posts to ensure the safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants, and others on the premises.
- Handle disturbances or problems during events or at the facility, escorting disruptive individuals to the security office or off the premises when necessary.
- Write incident reports and meet with the security lead to review procedures.
- Tour the facility and examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.
- Assist with crowd control inside and outside the premises when necessary.
- Control unusual circumstances and events during fires, storms, riots, and other emergencies.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations, answer alarms, and investigate disturbances.
- Act professionally with clients, employees, patrons, vendors, and others encountered during employment.
- Provide clients, patrons, and vendors with the best service possible.
- Work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Some college education is preferred.
- One year of security experience is preferred, although it is not necessary and training can be provided.
