  • Six to ten years of experience in technical product management, enterprise technology, solution delivery, business analysis, software development, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading products or technology-enabled solutions from discovery or proof of concept through implementation and adoption.
  • Strong technical fluency across data flows, cloud platforms, application architecture concepts, security considerations, and enterprise technology constraints.
  • Experience translating customer and stakeholder needs into prioritized requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and measurable outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience building lightweight prototypes or automations using Python, JavaScript, or comparable technologies.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases, with experience using data to support analysis, reporting, validation, or proof-of-concept development.
  • Demonstrated experience using generative artificial intelligence tools to accelerate research, analysis, prototyping, documentation, or workflow automation.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, align stakeholders around shared goals, remove delivery obstacles, and maintain momentum in a virtual and distributed environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions with incomplete information, and execute with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery to understand user workflows, business needs, pain points, and desired outcomes, and translate those insights into clear product opportunities.
  • Co-create and communicate the product vision, strategy, roadmap, success measures, and prioritized backlog with business, engineering, experience, and delivery stakeholders.
  • Lead or directly contribute to proof-of-concept solutions that validate user value, test feasibility, surface risks, and inform the recommended path to implementation.
  • Partner with engineering and technology leads to evaluate solution approaches and trade-offs across business value, feasibility, data, security, scalability, performance, cost, timeline, and delivery risk.
  • Gather, refine, and document requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and relevant non-functional requirements.
  • Serve as the bridge between product intent and technical execution, ensuring that desired outcomes and user experience are clearly understood by delivery teams.
  • Use generative artificial intelligence and agentic tools to accelerate market and domain research, synthesize feedback, generate hypotheses, build lightweight prototypes, test assumptions, and reduce rework.
  • Validate artificial-intelligence-generated outputs and ensure that artificial-intelligence-enabled capabilities are reliable, explainable, appropriately governed, and fit for the intended workflow.
  • Lead the transition from concept and proof of concept into implementation, remaining accountable for product outcomes through release, rollout, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery by managing priorities, dependencies, risks, decisions, milestones, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Define and monitor product key performance indicators, adoption measures, customer feedback, and other evidence of value to inform future product decisions.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal customers and leaders through clear communication of progress, risks, decisions, trade-offs, and next steps.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience designing, developing, or delivering cloud-based enterprise solutions; Azure experience is preferred.
  • Experience applying generative artificial intelligence or agentic capabilities to enterprise workflows, including retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, human-in-the-loop processes, or workflow automation.
  • Experience evaluating technical approaches and communicating trade-offs clearly with engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.
  • Experience working with enterprise data platforms, integration patterns, application programming interfaces, identity, or workflow technologies.
  • Experience with user research, design thinking, service design, usability testing, or customer journey mapping.
  • Experience defining evaluation frameworks, quality measures, monitoring approaches, or responsible-use practices for artificial-intelligence-enabled products.
  • Experience leading mid-sized cross-functional teams or mentoring product, engineering, or delivery professionals.
  • Experience working in a product operating model, Agile delivery environment, or product engineering organization.
  • Relevant product, Agile, cloud, data, or artificial-intelligence certifications.

About the company

Deloitte audits companies and advises businesses and governments on tax, technology, and risk, and it is one of the Big Four, the world's four largest accounting firms. In 1849 its founder became the first independent auditor of a public company, Britain's Great Western Railway. Its auditors check companies' financial reports for errors and fraud before investors rely on them, while its consultants design strategy, install business software, and defend clients against cyberattacks. Clients pay fees for each audit or project, and each country's Deloitte firm is a separate business owned by its local partners. Deloitte was founded in London in 1845 and is based in New York.

AI forces companies to rethink hiring practices as job applications surge and entry-level pipelines shrink

Business Insider convened 15 HR and C-suite leaders in Davos to discuss how AI is reshaping hiring and talent pipelines. The roundtable, presented by Indeed, revealed growing concerns about entry-level positions and skills assessment. Deloitte's Elizabeth Faber emphasised maintaining a "human-led, technology-powered" approach whilst carefully navigating reduced junior hiring. TCW's Melissa Stolfi noted her firm has downsized its analyst class but maintains a pyramid structure to preserve apprenticeship culture and future leadership pipelines. Indeed's chief economist Svenja Gudell warned that whilst tech employers now demand five-plus years' experience, this creates future talent shortages if junior hiring continues declining. Salesforce's Nathalie Scardino said her company receives two million applications annually and has shifted focus from years of experience to learning aptitude. Manpower Group's Becky Frankiewicz noted AI can process candidates faster whilst reducing bias, potentially unlocking opportunities beyond traditional qualifications.

Deloitte to hire 50,000 employees in India, eyes Mangaluru expansion

Deloitte plans to hire 50,000 employees in India and is evaluating Mangaluru, Karnataka, as a potential new location, according to South Asia CEO Romal Shetty. The company currently employs 140,000 people in India, representing one in four Deloitte employees globally. Shetty said India hosts 50% of all global capability centres worldwide, with significant growth potential in Tier II and Tier III cities. He proposed creating digital economic zones integrating GCCs, GPU-based data centres, startups and academic institutions to accelerate expansion. The CEO called for streamlining GCC setup processes from six months to two weeks, whilst acknowledging infrastructure constraints around energy and water for data centres. Shetty noted Mangaluru offers advantages including talent availability and real estate, adding the company's presence there is a matter of timing.
